Accused of committing bandity and theft

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated against a group of people for committing bandity and theft by wielding a gun was completed in the General Investigations Unite of the Police adjunct to the government of the Republic of Armenia.The prosecutor who supervised the preliminary investigation of the criminal case confirmed the bill of indictment.
By the preliminary investigation it was found out that the citizen of Yerevan A. Vermishyan reaching a prior agreement with H. Hovhannisyan, A. Mnatsakanyan and R. Abgaryan had committed assaults and thefts.
According to the obtained evidence the mentioned people have committed 2 assaults and 5 thefts swindling a significant amount of property. A. Vermishyan, H. Hovhannisyan, A. Mnatsakanyan and R. Abgaryan have shared the swindled property of significant amount among each other.
It was also found out that A. Vermishyan had committed 2 of the mentioned thefts with H. Hovhannisyan reaching a prior agreement with the latter, and the third one he had committed alone.Moreover, A. Vermishyan had committed one of them in the flat where he had been a guest.
Besides, according to the preliminary investigation H. Hovhannisyan being a contract serviceman in the Police Army of the Republic of Armenia had failed to appear on time to the military service.
According to the obtained evidence A. Vermishyan was accused according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 175, Points 1, 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175, Part 1 of the Article 177 and Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
H. Hovhannisyan was accused according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 175, Point 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 177 and Part 1 of the Article 361 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
A. Mnatsakanyan was accused according to the Points 1, 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
R. Abgaryan was accused according to the Points 1, 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
The criminal case was sent to the Court of First Instance of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts.
Note; Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
