Armenian woman becomes member of new Syrian government

DAMASCUS. – An Armenian woman is included in Syria’s new Cabinet of Ministers.
In line with the list posted on the website of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Dr. Nazira Farah Sarkis has been appointed Minister of State for Environment Affairs.
As it is known, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad formed the new government, and all the chief ministers have retained their posts.
