Ruben Melikyan was born in Yerevan in 1982.
He graduated from school N20 after John Giragosian, then continued his studies at YSU Law Department (Bachelor, Master’s Degree, Post-Graduate Course). In 2008, took a six-month course at Tufts University – Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy – under a program supported by Tavityan Foundation.
Since 2003, he has been teaching at YSU Law Department.
2006 – Candidate of legal sciences.
2010 – Associate Professor.
2007 – 2012, First, assistant to judge, then adviser to the President of the Court of Appeals.
He is author of over three dozen scientific papers.
