U.S. Ambassador Opens Job Fair

On December 2, 2011, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern launched a job fair at the Congress Hotel in Yerevan. The U.S. Alumni Association of Armenia (USAAA) organized the fair to help match Armenian alumni of U.S. exchange programs with potential employers.
Ambassador Heffern welcomed the job-seekers as well as representatives of 30 companies seeking highly qualified applicants for jobs and internships. Ameria Bank, ArmNews, Ashtarak Kat, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Congress Hotel, Nairi Insurance, and Orange Armenia were among the participating organizations.
The U.S. Alumni Association of Armenia (USAAA) was established in February 2010 and is supported by the U.S. Embassy. The Association is a network of Armenian alumni of educational and professional exchange programs to the United States. For more information about USAAA, please visit www.usaaa.am.
