Guilty of breaking human rights and freedom of citizens

The Court trial of the criminal case initiated against A. Makvetsyan for preaching two citizens in the yard of the Holy Trinity Church and for hitting the priest of the mentioned church was completed in the Court of First Instance of Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts.
The Court sentenced A. Makvetsyan to six months of imprisonment according to the RA Criminal Code Article 143, part 1 that is breach of the human rights and freedoms of citizens in the territory of the church by impeding the legal activities of the priest and the right of the citizen P. Badoyan to go to church. A. Makvetsyan was arrested in the courtroom.
The court decision can be appealed within one month. The prosecutor will decide whether to appeal the decision or not after receiving the decision on the above-mentioned criminal case.
