Angelina Jolie arrived in Turkey
People, Daily news | ankakh | June 17, 2011 22:27Hollywood star Angelina Jolie arrived in Turkey on Friday to meet with Syrian refugees in the Hatay province bordering with Syria.
She was met at the airport by deputy governor, head of police and representatives of the foreign ministry, Turkish Zamannewspaper writes.
The Turkish side provided a bus to transport many toys brought by Jolie for Syrian kids.
Number of Syrian refugees in Turkey has reached 8,538 people. The Syrians enter Turkey through the Hatay region, where the tent camps are set up for refugees.
