Angelina Jolie wants to visit Syrian refugees in Turkey

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie appealed to the Turkish Foreign Ministry with a request to visit Syrian refugees who have fled to Turkey.

A source of Hurriyet Daily Newsnewspaper confirmed Foreign Ministry has received a request and added that the government viewed the issue “positively.”

Angelina Jolie is serving as UN goodwill ambassador since 2001.

Number of Syrian refugees in Turkey has reached 8,538 people. The Syrians enter Turkey through the Hatay region, where the tent camps are set up for refugees.
