CBA head promises inflation rate will fall in Armenia

YEREVAN. – The head of Armenia’s Central Bank (CBA) Arthur Javadyan said they would do their utmost to keep the inflation lower 5.5% by the year end.

He did not rule out possibility of risks connected with rise for food prices in the world marker and weather factors.

According to Javadyan, serious decline in prices will be registered in July and August. He noted that 9% inflation rate registered in the first half of 2011 did not exceed the forecasts.
