American businessman accused in pedophilia in Armenia

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prosecutor general’s office approved the charge against the chief manager of the Akhtala Metal Prince mining plant Serob Ter-Poghosyan.
Proofs are gained during pre-investigation period that approve the president of “Metal Prince LTD” corporation, the chief manager of the Akhtala Metal Prince mining plant Serob Ter-Poghosyan’s had sex and committed sexual violence with underage.
While choosing his victims, Serob Ter-Poghosyan chose teenage boys who were in the most vulnerable and financially insecure position, Prosecutor general’s office informed NEWS.am.
The charge against Serob Ter-Poghosyan, intending three years of imprisonment according to Armenia’s Criminal Code, article 140, was restated. At present he is charged with Armenia’s Criminal Code, article 139 that presupposes four to ten or eight to fifteen years of imprisonment. The criminal case was sent to the Lori region General Court to examine the case thoroughly.
