President of the Artsakh Republic visited the Martakert region

On 3 April President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the Martakert region.
Bako Sahakyan visited the village of Talish, met with representatives of the community and discussed issues they faced. The President underlined the necessity of ameliorating socioeconomic situation in this village from the viewpoints of both the border zone development and stimulating the repatriation of Artsakh people from abroad.
The Head of the State also visited construction sites of the hydropower stations being built in the Mataghis settlement and on the Trghe River to inspect the process of the carried out activities. Bako Sahakyan noted the importance of these objects for our republic as pivotal components of Artsakh’s energy security.
The President gave concrete instructions to heads of corresponding structures for proper realization of the activities.
Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
