Meeting with primate of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Norvan Zakaryan
Official, Daily news | ankakh | March 22, 2011 10:24On 21 March President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received primate of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Norvan Zakaryan and diocesan chancellor Grigor Davtyan.
Issues related to strengthening the Motherland-Diaspora relations, as well as ties between the church and the state were discussed during the meeting.
The Head of the State considered important the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in deepening cooperation between Artsakh and the Diaspora, developing our country and forming healthy society at the same time noting the necessity of continuous widening ties between dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan and other officials partook at the meeting.
